Camping/Bears Tot Trays

Back on track....kind of. The week of August has been a bit bizarre in our household ...see what I mean....August is a month, not a week...a prime example of what my mind has been like this month. lol This next week we will start our Camping Theme for Tot School. It should be really fun. There are a lot of fun activities that I have planned. These printables can be found at Homeschool Creations and 2 Teaching Mommies. (I love that these ladies are all so generous with their creations!)

Camping themed counting and clothes pins. Asa really enjoys these.
Number sequencing puzzle. This one is new and may be a challenge for Asa. (The completed puzzle is a tent/fire/camping scene).
Patterning with pattern strips. The strips will be used by Asa to copy the pattern.
Plant and Animal sort.
Animal Graphing. I always cut up the paper dice into squares and stick it to our big die....much more durable for my little guys.
Pre-writing skills...tracing lines. Asa is getting better at this all the time.
This is a tray that I specifically made for Silas. We have some counting bears with holes in the bottoms of them, and I think that he will enjoy putting them on the pencils and taking them off again.
Another one specifically for Silas. Sleeping bag/pillow color matching. I made these with felt scraps, staples, hot glue, and cotton balls. lol
I found this really, really cute idea over at The Adventures of Bear and pinned it to my Pinterest (love that site....how did we ever remember things before....so nice to get my bookmarks organized finally!)
The Bb alphabet bin. I realize we haven't done this in a while. I am easily distracted by the plethora of grand ideas online and added two themes in between my A and B (Popsicles/Ice Cream and Pond). Surprisingly, I will be getting distracted yet again and we will be doing Apples next....so jumping back to A. lol
Silas' magnet tray. He loves this tray!
I will be linking up to 1+1+1=1 and Montessori Monday. Happy blogging!

  2. Ah, my first comment disappeared.

Love the counting bears counting cards. I have counting bears and am always looking for ways to use them. I need to check if my counting bears has holes on the bottom (but i doubt it does).

Your alphabet bin looks great. So far I have done theme bins like dinosaurs, and bugs. I think we will try an alphabet bin next. :)
